This weekend, the Eastern Regional Band performed in front of a standing-room only crowd at Saint James School. The group, which is comprised of 107 students from thirteen area Catholic schools, received a standing ovation for their extremely impressive performance. Performers from SJS were: Eleri B., Clarice J., Steven D., Christian V., Tim L., Max L., Kate L., Colleen T., Kevin Z., Rachel D., Alexandra P., Margo K., Jack D., Conor B., Paige B., Zachary Z., Lilly Z., and Evanthea P.
12:05 Dismissal Tomorrow/Grandparents’ & Special Persons’ Day
/in St. James Notices /by Saint James SchoolJust a reminder that dismissal is at 12:05pm tomorrow, Friday, October 23rd. If your child is going to aftercare, please remember to pack them a lunch, as no hot lunch will be served tomorrow.
The grandparents’ and special persons’ celebration begins at 10:00am in the gym (doors will open at 9:45). Please let guests know that they should enter through the gym entrance way. Also, please make sure that guests know which homeroom teacher(s) your child(ren) have as they will be visiting the classrooms.

Girls Basketball Update
/in St. James Notices /by Saint James SchoolTryouts for the girls JV and Varsity Basketball teams will be held this Wednesday, October 21st. JV tryouts (grades 4-6) will be from 2:00pm-4:00pm, Varsity from 5:00pm -7:00pm. Varsity tryouts are for girls in 7th & 8th grade, and any 6th grade girls who would like to try for Varsity. A second tryout date will be on Monday, October 26th. Same times. A complete schedule of upcoming basketball dates can be found on our basketball webpage.
Open Gym will be held tonight for girls in grades 4-6.
There will be a girls basketball Parent Meeting this Thursday, October 22nd, in the cafeteria for parents.
Eastern Regional Band Concert This Saturday at SJS

It is a free concert and all are welcome to attend. The Eastern Regional Band is made up of 107 student from thirteen area catholic schools. Saint James School has 18 students participating in this big event.
