Completed applications, along with a copy of your child’s birth certificate, should be faxed to the school at (860) 649-6462, e-mailed to aguenther@saintjamesschool.net, or sent via postal mail to:

Saint James School
Attention:  Pre-Kindergarten Admissions
73 Park Street
Manchester, CT  06040

Application forms for the upcoming school year are accepted anytime after October 1.  When possible, we suggest submitting your application form prior to March 1.

STEP 2:  Reserve Your Child’s Spot

Acceptance letters will be mailed home in early March.  For late applicants, acceptance letters will be mailed (based on space availability).  We will always call or e-mail to inform you if we need to put you on a waiting list.

Once you receive your acceptance letter, in order to secure a spot for your child, the New Family Registration paperwork, Developmental Health Record, Preschool Health Assessment Form (aka yellow physical form), and Tuition Contact (all enclosed with your acceptance letter)  must be submitted by the deadline noted in the acceptance letter.  Along with the completed paperwork, a family registration fee (payable to Saint James School) must be sent to hold a spot for your child(ren).   This is a non-refundable fee, however it will be applied towards your tuition.

STEP 3: Welcome to Saint James Pre-Kindergarten!

In August, parents of all registered children will receive a copy of the Preschool Newsletter detailing what children need to bring on the first day of school.  Also in August, the Preschool teachers will send a postcard to each child inviting them to attend an open house on the day before school begins.  This gives the children an opportunity to meet the teachers, see the classrooms, find their cubby, and meet some of the new friends that will be part of their Pre-Kindergarten class.
