The SJS Spiritwear Store is now open for Basketball, Cheer, or General Spiritwear items:  https://sjs.brand—essentials.com/shops/sjs/

The store will close on December 3rd and we anticipate all items will be available before Christmas recess.

Please note:

* Students playing basketball may wear the basketball Cross Hoodie, Limitless Pants, and Limitless Zip on gym days (along with their gray gym uniform shirt from Lands End or Dennis Uniforms).  The t-shirts may be worn to school on dress down days only.

* Students on the cheer team may wear the Cheer sweatshirt to school on gym days (over the gray gym uniform shirt from Lands End or Dennis Uniforms). The t-shirt may be worn to school on dress down days only.

* All students may wear the SJS Center Hoodie to school on gym days (over the gray gym uniform shirt from Lands End or Dennis Uniforms).  The t-shirt may be worn to school on dress down days only.

* The Electrify Basketball Long Sleeve with custom last name of back is the warm up shirt for our varsity players.  Coaches will let parents know if they need to order a Mesh Reversible Jersey (used for scrimmages at practice).

Items purchased can be shipped to SJS for pick-up at no charge (we will send an email when items are available to pick-up).

Instrumental Music Tomorrow

All instrumental music students will have band practice tomorrow (Tuesday, 11/26).

Christmas Eve Children’s Choir Updated Info

All students in the 2nd grade or older are invited to sing in a special children’s choir for the 4pm Christmas Eve Mass at St. Bridget’s Church on Tuesday, Dec. 24. The choir will be made up of children from both St. Bridget and St. James schools along with children who are a part of the parish and religious education community. Rehearsals for this children’s choir are scheduled from 4:15pm – 5:45pm at St. Bartholomew’s Church on the following Thursdays: December 5, December 12, and December 19. Children will also need to arrive to St. Bridget’s Church on December 24 by 2:30pm or 3pm (TBD).

Last Call: Thanksgiving Food Donations

Any last-minute donations to our Thanksgiving food collection should be brought in tomorrow (Friday 11/22) at arrival.  All items are being picked up for delivery tomorrow morning.  Thank you to everyone who joined us in this important mission to support our local food pantry.

Last Call: Poinsettia Fundraiser

Saint James School has teamed up with Woodland Gardens for a Christmas Poinsettia Fundraiser for our school!  Plants are purchased at a slightly discounted price, PLUS a portion of each sale goes to SJS.

If you would like to participate, please send THIS ORDER FORM (<— click link to open) into the SJS main office with payment and you will receive vouchers sent home with your child.  Take your vouchers to Woodland Gardens anytime before December 21st, and choose your plants.

If you do not receive your vouchers within a couple of days of placing your order or have questions, please contact HSA@SaintJamesSchool.net

Checks should be made payable to: St. Teresa Parish and note SJS Fundraiser in the memo field.

 

Attn: Aftercare Families

Aftercare will NOT be available on Friday, December 13th – which is a 12:05pm dismissal day.  The office will also be closing at 12:05pm as faculty and staff will be heading offsite for our annual Christmas party.  Please be sure you have arrangements to pick up your child/ren at 12:05pm.  Thank you!

Last Call: Thanksgiving Food Collection

Thank you to everyone who has brought in items so far!  Our collection will end on Wednesday of this coming week.

From November 12th – 20th Saint James School will be collecting food to help local families in need have a blessed Thanksgiving.  If you are able, families are asked to contribute a food item as noted below (a collection box will be in each classroom to collect donations).  Our parish representative from St. Vincent DePaul will be picking up donation on the 20th, using items to make baskets for local families in need.  Any extra items will be donated to the MACC food pantry.  Thank you for any support you are able to provide:
