For families with a child (or children) that will be in the K-8 program next year and wish to apply for tuition assistance for the upcoming school year, please see below:
* If you have applied for/received tuition assistance from SJS in the past, login HERE to open the SJS Grant & Aid Website. The password/username may be different than your Family Portal Login. If you are having trouble, please reach out to FACTS financial support at 1-866-441-4637.
* If you have never applied for tuition assistance from SJS in the past, please email our Tuition Manager, Denise Mayo, at dmayo@saintjamesmanchester.org and she will help get you started.
You will need to have your completed 2025 Tax Return available to upload.
Parish Affiliation Forms
As a reminder, K-8 families looking to receive the Catholic tuition rate must submit a new Parish Affiliation Form each year. Tuition discounts for approved Parish Affiliation Forms will be credited to family accounts in the next few weeks. If you have not yet submitted a form for the 2026-2027 school year but plan to do so, please note the deadline of June 30th.
Please review the April Saber Stories Newsletter from Mrs. Zorger.
Also below is the April Events Calendar and April Lunch Menu.
As a reminder, all K-8 reading logs for the Read Across America contest are due back tomorrow.
Also, tomorrow (morning) is the last day for gently used book donations for the Manchester Women’s Club. Thank you to those who already brought in books!
The menu item for March 31st has been changed to a bbq beef sandwich and potato puffs.
Archbishop Coyne and the Archbishop’s Annual Appeal Pastors’ Advisory Committee invite students who will be Freshman (or Sophomores) in the 2026-2027 school year and will be attending a Catholic high school within the Archdiocese of Hartford to participate in the 2026 AAA Tuition Grant Essay Contest. Congratulations to SJS 8th grade students Julie Cha and Ethan Garcia on a great performance at the CT Future Musicians All-State Band Concert this past weekend! This special ensemble, which is by invite only, features talented student musicians from a wide variety of private and parochial schools across Connecticut. Great job Sabers!
For students that participated in the Lenten Rice Bowl program, please remember that those are due back to the homeroom teacher by tomorrow.
