6th Grade Girls (JV) Basketball Compete in Semi-Finals Tonight
Tonight the Saint James School 6th Grade Girls Basketball Team will competing in the state semi-finals facing St. Gabriel. The game is being held at Kennedy High School in Watertown (422 Highland Avenue) and will begin at 7:00pm. Good luck girls!
SJS Soccer Registration Reminder
A reminder for all students in grades 3-8 interested in playing Soccer for Saint James School this year: The completed registration paperwork must be turned into the school office (please note “Attn: SJS Soccer” on the envelope) along with the applicable registration fee prior to March 22nd. Please make checks out to “Saint James School.”
If your child does not already have an Athletics Health Form 2012-2013 on file with the school, please print and have your child’s physician complete this prior to March 22nd. Children cannot begin practicing without this document on file.
Saint James School Used Book Sale April 9th & 10th
The Saint James School library will be having a used book sale on Tuesday, April 9th and Wednesday, April 10th in the gym from 8am-3pm. All proceeds will be used to purchase more current books for the library.
We will be collecting gently used (not torn, ripped or colored on) and updated books for sale. If you or your family have any children’s books or adult novels that you wish to donate, please bring them to the main office prior to April 1st.
We are also collecting family-friendly DVDs (No Rated R movies or VHS Tapes, please). DVDs should be in good, working condition with no scratches, etc.

Read to Achieve tickets for Friday’s game were sent home on Wednesday in children’s school folders. Please plan to arrive at the MassMutual Center (1277 Main Street) in Springfield by 6:15pm to represent Saint James School in the pre-game on-court parade.
