Mrs. Camposeo’s 3rd grade class is excited to announce the launch of their “Great Mail Race.” Students have been working hard on composing letters, which they recently mailed out to fifty different Catholic schools – one in each state across the country. The letters contained interesting facts about our school and the town of Manchester. Each letter also contained a questionnaire for recipients to fill out and send back to Saint James School.
Our 3rd graders are hoping to receive responses from all fifty states. The completed questionnaires will provide them with information about school schedules, length of the school day, field trips, student populations, special subjects, and town and state features. A map of the United States posted in the classroom will help students keep tabs on the returns, with pushpins being used to represent the areas that respond.
