2013 Manchester Memorial Parade

We are really hoping to have Saint James School represented again in this year’s Memorial Parade.  We currently only have 2 families signed up – so in order to make this happen, we need your support!  We are looking for student and parent volunteers to march with us in the parade on May 27th.  Parents may bring wagons to pull younger children in if they wish.  We would really like to have a number of our middle school students participate as well.

Please take a moment to check your schedule and send in a copy of the signed Memorial Parade Permission Slip (by Thursday) if you/your child(ren) will be able to join us next Monday.

If you have any questions, please contact Amy Guenther at 860.643.5088 (#6 on main menu) or at aguenther@saintjamesschool.net.

Thank you for helping Saint James School show our gratitude for the men and women who fought to make our Country great!!

Box Tops Winners For April

Congratulations to Mrs. Vassallo’s Kindergarten class for winning the April dress down day – collecting 788 Box Tops.  Mrs. Vassallo will advise when the class will have their dress down day for winning.

The next day (and final time for this year) for collecting and counting Box Tops is June 4th. Please hand in ALL your Box Tops at that time. They do expire and if you hold them all summer we may end up throwing out a bunch out next fall.

Heather Meyer will be looking for new volunteers to help sort and count for next year, beginning in September.
