SJS Students Spread Christmas Cheer
/in St. James Notices /by Saint James SchoolThe HSA GIVES “Cookies & Cards” event was a sweet success with many smiling faces from both young and old! Several SJS families joined in the fun on Saturday evening to treat each resident at The Village at Buckland Court to a bag of homemade cookies and an adorable handmade Christmas card. The children were able to visit with the residents during the dinner-time hour. They even met a 1939 SJS graduate who shared stories of her days as a student (wearing purple in pic below)! Thank you to everyone to baked cookies and who came out to deliver them. A special thanks to Mrs. Sabatella for coordinating the cards and to Mrs. Caldwell and Mrs. Pesola-Strickland for organizing this wonderful event.
