4th Grade Presidents
/in St. James Notices /by Saint James SchoolToday our 4th graders completed their project on an assigned U.S. President, turning in a short report and giving a brief oral presentation to their classmates. As part of the assignment, students could choose to dress as their President for the day, put together an informational poster, or make a puppet. Knights of Columbus Free Throw Contest Winners
/in St. James Notices /by Saint James SchoolThis past Saturday The Knights of Columbus held their Annual Free Throw Competition at Saint James School. In the Girls division, SJS students Alexis J. and Isabella J. will be advancing on to the Regional Finals, as will SJS students Aiden L. and Zachary N. from the Boys division. The Regional Finals will be held on March 25th at Saint Bridget’s. Congratulations to our 4 winners and good luck in March!

K of C Free Throw Contest @ SJS
/in St. James Notices /by Saint James SchoolThe Knights of Columbus Council 1155 of Manchester will hold its annual Free Throw Contest for boys & girls Ages 9-14 this Saturday (2/4) at Saint James School. Registration is at 1:30 PM and the contest is between 2 and 4 PM. Registration forms can be found on our website www.kofccouncil1155.org. Entrants must be accompanied by an adult.

It was such a great time getting to know each other better and raising money for our wonderful school. There was so much fun, laughter and creativity! Important Notice
/in Uncategorized /by Saint James SchoolDue to the amount of students absent with illnesses over the last few weeks, we have decided to shut down the water fountains in the school to help prevent the spread of germs. We have also been taking extra measures to thoroughly clean desks, door handles, railings etc.
Since the water fountains will not be available for the foreseeable future, please advise your child(ren) to make sure they have a full water bottle for school each day. They will be given opportunities to drink throughout the day.
