Please save the date: the annual SJS Sports Banquet – for students that ran cross country, played basketball, or will be playing soccer this year – will be held on Monday, May 8th from 5:15pm – 8:00pm at the East Catholic High School cafeteria. Please RSVP to the main office using the attached form by May 5th. (Also, please note, boys 4th & 5th grade basketball players already had their party and awards ceremony at the conclusion of their season).

Spring Uniform Begins Monday
/in St. James Notices /by Saint James SchoolMonday (May 1) begins our Spring Uniform, which means students may wear the uniform shorts to school. Middle school parents, please remember if your child is wearing the uniform shorts, they must wear the uniform polo with it (they cannot wear the shirt and tie with shorts).
Pancake Breakfast To Support Catholic School Soccer League
/in St. James Notices /by Saint James SchoolOur local Knights of Columbus will be hosting a Pancake Breakfast for benefit of the Catholic Schools’ Soccer League (CSSL) on Sunday, April 30th from 8:00am to 11:00am at the Church of the Assumption Parish Hall. The menu consists of homemade pancakes, sausage, fruit cup, juice, and beverages. The cost is $5.00 for adults and $3.00 for children. Tickets may be purchased at the door. All proceeds will be donated to CSSL. Please support this wonderful program for our Catholic School children throughout central Connecticut. For more information please see the attached flyer

Mother/Daughter Tea Update
/in St. James Notices /by Saint James SchoolThe HSA has had a wonderful response for the mother daughter tea. Thank you to all who have signed up to come. Unfortunately, we have reached capacity and will not be able to accept any more attendees this year.
The committee is looking for volunteers to help set up on the evening of Friday, May 19th, as well as to help during the tea and with cleanup afterwards. If you would be interested in helping, please email Keshet Spadaccini at kspadaccini@att.net.
