The school bus routes have been released for Manchester residents who requested bus transportation to and from SJS.  Please use this LINK  to check on your child’s bus stop (if your address doesn’t come up how you entered it, please use the scroll down list).  If you cannot get your address to come up, please email Mrs. Sager at lsager@saintjamesschool.net.

Important Notes from the town:

➢ Students should arrive at the bus stop 5 minutes before departure time.

➢ Parent or guardian should arrive at the bus stop 5 minutes before scheduled drop off time. Pre-K through Grade 2 students must be released to a parent or guardian.

➢ Please remind your children of the importance of following bus safety rules.

➢ School buses are equipped with video surveillance for the safety of the students and the driver.

➢ No medications can be transported on the school bus with the exception of an epi-pen. The school bus driver will not administer any medication. Please make arrangements to bring any medications to the school nurse’s office.

➢ Due to the high volume of bus stop changes at the start of the school year, no changes will be made for the first two weeks of school.

Returning Families, please remember you must re-enroll each year.

As a reminder, if you plan to use the Extended Day program for the 2018-2019 school year, both documents below must be filled out and returned to Ms. Jean by early next week. Please note, the Emergency Contact Form cannot be scanned (we need the copy with your original signature on file).  Please drop BOTH documents off to the school or mail them in to:  Saint James School, Attention: Jean Burdick, 73 Park Street, Manchester CT  06040.

Our annual back-to-school “Meet & Sweet” event for all NEW Saint James elementary/middle school (K-8) students/families and buddy families will be held the evening of Tuesday, August 28th from 6:00pm to 7:00pm.  All incoming Kindergarten students and their families (even if they have older siblings already at the school) are also invited to attend.

Please note, you must RSVP for this event.  If your child/ren is new to the school or you are a 2018 buddy family and didn’t receive the link to RSVP for the event, please contact our Advancement Director, Amy Guenther at aguenther@saintjamesschool.net.
