Stations of the Cross

Saint James School students will attend Stations of the Cross on Fridays during Lent at 1:00pm as follows:

March 29: Grades 2 & 8
April 5: Grades 5 & 7
April 12: Grades 6 & 8

All SJS parents/grandparents are welcome to join us!

Volunteers Needed

Volunteers are needed on Tuesday, April 2nd at 7:00pm to help sort Munsons orders.  Many hands make light work so please consider reaching out to parent volunteer Megan Hunt at meganhunt727@gmail.com to volunteer your time.

Family Game Night – Join Us!

The HSA is teaming up with GameWright to host a Family Game Night on Friday, April 5 from 6:30-8:30pm in the cafeteria.   There will be lots of great new games to play and yummy refreshments!  Check out this flyer for all the info.  We hope you can make it!

SJS Students Win at Regional Spelling Bee

Congratulations to our 3 SJS Spelling Bee winners who participated in the Knights of Columbus Regional Spelling Bee last evening at Saint Mary-Saint Joseph in Willimantic.  We are very excited to announce that our SJS students placed as follows:

Lauren W. (4th Grade): 1st Place!

Allyson L. (5th Grade): 2nd Place!

Christian T. (6th Grade): 1st Place!

Lauren and Christian will now be moving on to the State finals!

Soirée Thank You!

A Great Big THANK YOU to everyone who helped with the Soirée this past weekend – particularly event Chair Erin Daley and all the amazing parent volunteers who worked along side her to make this event so successful for our school!

We would especially like to thank everyone who attended the event for their generosity throughout the evening and particularly to Highland Park Market for the amazing food.  Together we raised just over $20,000 for our school!!
