Cross Country Important Note

SJS Cross Country runners who will be competing in at the State Championship meet this weekend have practice tomorrow after school.  Mrs. O’Neill is hoping to have the kids run the course at Wickham Park, in preparation for Saturday’s event but is in need of a few parent drivers to help transport students from SJS to Wickham to make this happen.  If you are available to help, please meet Mrs. O’Neill in the GYM at dismissal tomorrow.

Trunk or Treat Fun!

The HSA would like to extend a HUGE thank you to everyone who came out for Trunk or Treat this past weekend! The trunks and costumes were great and the kids and parents all seemed to have a great time!

Fall Into Reading Contest Winners

Congratulations to the winners of our Fall into Reading Contest – Kindergarten and 4th Grade! And, in a very sweet gesture, our 4th graders decided to donate their contest winnings – a dress down day and no homework night – to their 1st grade book buddies! Awesome job Sabers!

Important Reminders for Tomorrow (Friday)

As a reminder, grandparents and special guests coming to the school on Friday for our students in Kindergarten – 5th grade are asked to enter via the GYM. The doors will open at 9:45am.

Please remember to tell your visitor(s) which teacher(s) your child/ren have so that our volunteers can easily direct them to the correct classrooms following the assembly.

While guests will only be visiting our K-5th students/classrooms, Middle school students can be dismissed anytime after 11:30am tomorrow to leave with a grandparent (or special guest) visiting a younger sibling, however a note must be sent to the teacher on Friday morning regarding the special dismissal.

Also, please note:

All students should come in regular uniform on Friday (no gym uniforms).  There are no gym classes being held tomorrow.

Dismissal will be OUTSIDE in the Pre-K parking lot for students leaving at 12:05pm on Friday.

Drop Off Thank You

Mrs. Zorger would like to send a huge THANK YOU to everyone for doing their part to help make our morning drop-off run smoothly and ensuring a safe arrival for all our students.

As a reminder, we really want to keep that “Drop and Go” area moving along, so if your child is not fully ready to get out of the car when you reach the school, please keep going and park in the Pre-K lot until they are ready.

Also, please be sure to pull ALL THE WAY UP so that we can accommodate as many cars as possible along that curb.

Advanced Band Notice

Advanced Band will preform tomorrow for grandparents’ and special persons’ day.  Please be sure your student comes to school with their instrument tomorrow and in their regular school uniform (no gym uniforms should be worn tomorrow).
