Fire Safety & Prevention Week
Yesterday our younger students (Pre-K – Gr. 3) enjoyed a visit with local heroes from the Manchester Fire Department for a lesson on Fire Safety and Prevention. Below are several pictures taken yesterday morning.

As a reminder, the Cross Country Team will be racing tomorrow – Wednesday, October 9th – Vernon Center Middle School (this is INSTEAD of Thursday at Elizabeth Park). Thank you to all the SJS students and staff who participated in our St. Francis-inspired $1.00 Dress Down Day on Friday. Together we raised $386 to will benefit the installation of raised beds and the planting of bulbs, both of which will tie in with upcoming science lessons for our students.
