SJS 3rd graders have been learning about small animals and habitats as part of their science lessons. Recently, each student researched and hand-wrote a book about an assigned animal. On Friday, students dissected (sanitized) owl “pellets,” as they learned about owls and what they eat.

This past weekend, the Saint James School Robotics teams - under the guidance of Mrs. Poth and Mr. Poth -  joined schools from across the Archdiocese of Hartford in competing at the VEX IQ Robotics competition at St. Bridget school in Cheshire.  Out of 34 teams that competed...

A huge Thank You to SJS Art Teachers Mrs. Rafferty and Ms. Boutot for all their hard work putting together an amazing Art Show for our students and families yesterday! 

As a culmination of their studies on Ancient China, Saint James School 6th grade students each designed a board game using knowledge learned throughout the lessons.  Today the students had a chance to play each other's games - which were all unique in design and rules of play.  Great job Sabers!

For yesterday's book & art club, our 1st & 2nd grade students listened to the story "We're Going on an Egg Hunt" then made their own Easter eggs and spring designs using model magic.

Thank you to all of our wonderful coaches for another great season of basketball at SJS!  Our JV teams had their end-of-season celebration yesterday afternoon during lunch. 

Congratulation to our 6th Grade Girls Basketball team (JV Gold) on taking 2nd place in their division's State Tournament yesterday.  Way to go Sabers!
