Last call for spiritwear orders. If you forgot to place your order today, please send it in with your child tomorrow morning or drop it off to the office by 8:30am tomorrow. Thank you.

Orders and payment must be turned into the school office by Monday, December 8th as we will be working with the vendor to try to get them fulfilled prior to Christmas break (barring any unforeseen circumstances such as weather and shipping delays).

Boys Varsity Gold Practice Change
Boys Varsity Gold Basketball will practice Monday, December 8th from 7:00-8:30pm. Tuesday’s practice has been cancelled due to set up needed for the Christmas Fair.
Yankee Candle Fundraiser Pick-up
Attention parents: If you placed an order through the recent Yankee Candle fundraiser, please stop by the school breezeway and pick your item(s) up. Items are in boxes, arranged in alphabetical order. Please remember to look at your box and note if it says 1 of 1 or 1 of 2, etc. to ensure you take all boxes that are part of your order.
Notice Regarding the Hot Lunch Program
Saint James School is preparing to change our hot lunch account program over to the same system used by the Manchester Public Schools. Statements are being sent home with students today and tomorrow. Please remember, all accounts must now be brought up-to-date. According to Manchester Hot Lunch Program guidelines, any student who has two or more (unfunded) charges on his/her account will receive a cheese sandwich for lunch, when they order hot lunch, until their account is rectified. Thank you for taking the time to make sure your balance is current.
Smoking Prevention Assembly
An fyi for parents and guardians, students in grades 5th – 8th will have a smoking prevention assembly tomorrow morning.
Important: Friday Morning Parking
Mrs. Kanute will be hosting a large meeting at Saint James School tomorrow. She requests staff and parents DO NOT park on Otis Street or Park Street tomorrow. For parents dropping off in the morning, you may still use these streets as long as your car is removed by 7:55am. Thank you.
Optional Varsity Gold Practice Sunday
Please note, Coach Creamer will be holding an optional practice for Varsity Gold players (joining Varsity Blue) this Sunday from 1 pm to 3 pm.
SJS Basketball Gear
Just a reminder that tomorrow (Tuesday) is the last day to place an order for SJS Basketball Gear. Please note, the navy basketball pants/sweatpants may be worn on Gym days (as may the shorts during summer uniform times).
SJS Family Pasta Dinner
Final call for RSVPs: If you forgot to send in your form, please do so by Monday morning so we can submit our final headcount to Olive Garden. Based on the RSVPs, we anticipate a great turnout! We hope to see you there!
