Blue & Gold Dress Down Tomorrow

Friday, February 1st, is our annual Blue & Gold/Spiritwear dress down day and SJS Pep Rally.  Students may come to school on Friday dressed down in blue & gold (the school colors) or wear any of their Saint James School spiritwear.  Standard dress down guidelines apply.  If your child has an SJS Class of 20xx t-shirt that we have given out to all our new Kindergarten students in the past few years, please consider having them wear that.

All SJS Basketball Players should wear their basketball top (with a shirt under it) to school tomorrow.

Varsity Blue

Varsity Blue had a thriller last night against St Tims. Our boys were down 23 – 15 at the end of the first half, but the team stormed back to win it, 42 – 41.  Way to go SABERS!!

Volunteers For Saturday’s Games Needed

Parent and player volunteers are needed for this Saturday, February 2nd as we will be hosting basketball games at our school for a good portion of the day.  We really need parents to help man the doors during the day so please be a “team player” and grab a spot.  The following link will take you to the signup sheet:

Thank you to all our basketball parents for your help in supporting our volunteer coaches!

Change to Volunteer Reception and Prayer Service Tomorrow

Due to the impending snowy/rainy weather for tomorrow morning, we have decided to move our Volunteer Reception and Prayer Service to our school Gymnasium tomorrow.

If there is  NO delay, we will begin the prayer service in the gym at 9:15am.

If there IS A delay tomorrow, we will begin in the gym at 10:15am.

We are excited to see many of our awesome volunteers tomorrow!

Spiritwear is IN

If you ordered SJS Spiritwear earlier in the month, the items are in at the SJS main office.  Please stop in after pick-up today and grab yours or, email Amy Guenther at aguenther@saintjamesschool.net if you would  like it sent home with your student tomorrow.

Gym Reminder

As a reminder, please do not bring helium balloons into the school gymnasium at any time (afternoon pick-up, graduation events, etc.).  If a balloon gets loose and floats to the ceiling it will randomly set off our school alarm systems until someone can retrieve it.  Thank you for your attention to this.
