Tomorrow: Optional Character Dress Up K-5
Tomorrow, Tuesday March 5th – students in GRADES K-5 may participate in an OPTIONAL storybook character dress down (dress up!) day as part of our 2024 Read Across America activities. Please note that if your student does not want to dress as a storybook character, they need to come to school in their regular Tuesday uniform attire. Please also remember that standard dress down guidelines as per our handbook apply for students that wish to dress up on Tuesday.
Also for Read Across America, Mrs. Tierney will be kicking off the Hats off To Reading Contest for students in Kindergarten through 8th grade. The contest begins March 4th and will run the entire month of March. Details will be shared with students during this week’s library period.
Jingle Bell Ball, Raffle, & Silent Auction Preview
We are so excited to celebrate our Saint James School community this coming Saturday at out Jingle Bell Ball Gala & Auction Fundraiser! Even if you are not attending the actual event at Cheney Hall on Saturday evening, we hope you will participate in the following ways:
CLASS BASKET RAFFLE
We are currently selling raffle tickets for the amazing class baskets! Please send in your Ticket Request Form and payment by Friday of this week. We will also be selling tickets AT the event on Saturday night for those attending. You do not have to be present at the Gala to win!

SILENT AUCTION
Our Jingle Bell Ball Silent Auction will officially open for bidding at 2:00pm on Friday afternoon. Bidding on silent auction items will remain open until 8:00pm on Saturday evening. You can bid from home or bid from Cheney Hall – everyone can participate! 4th Grade STEM Club Rescheduled
Please note that the STEM Club scheduled for Thurs, March 7 is being rescheduled to next Thurs, March 14. If your 4th Grader would like to attend, please complete and return the updated form.
SJS Jingle Bell Ball/Silent Auction
We are so excited for our Jingle Bell Ball next Saturday! For individuals who submitted the RSVP to attend, please note you do NOT need a ticket – when you arrive at Cheney Hall, simply check in with the representative at the door. The doors will open at 6:00pm! Attire for the evening is anything goes — Ugly Christmas sweaters or other Christmas-themed attire is encouraged but we welcome anything from Christmas PJs to Sunday best.
About our Silent Auction:

4th Grade STEM Club
