On Thursday evening Saint James School will host an Open House for prospective families interested in our Pre-Kindergarten and Kindergarten through 8th Grade program for the 2024-2025 school year. If you know of anyone who may be considering Saint James School, please invite them to attend!

As a reminder, we will have 12:05pm dismissal on Wednesday & Thursday of this week for parent teacher conferences (aftercare will be in session both days, students will need to bring a lunch from home).
Additionally, there is no school on Friday as our teachers will be at an offsite conference for the day.
There will be a session of STEM club for students in Grade 3 on Thurs, March 28. If your child would like to attend, please complete the permission form.
It’s time to sign up for the SJS 2024 Soccer Season. Students in grades 3 – 8 are eligible to participate and no previous soccer experience is required.
If your child is interested in playing soccer for SJS this year, please complete the attached form (page 2) and submit it with the appropriate activity fee to the SJS main office by Wednesday, March 20th. After that time, we cannot guarantee spots on a team.

Parent volunteers are needed to coach and assist with the teams (no experience needed). We cannot run this program without your help! If you have any questions about coaching, please contact Mr. Green at cgreen@saintjamesschool.net.
Please note that students will need the 2023-2024 Athletics Health Permission Form completed and signed by their doctor in order to participate. While this health form must be on file with the school before your child can participate in any practices or games, if there is a delay in receiving it back from the pediatrician by the deadline, please still submit the Soccer sign-up form and payment by the March 20th deadline.
A make-up date has been scheduled for the Yard Goats game that was rained out in September. The rescheduled date is Tuesday, April 23, 2024, at Dunkin’ Park. The game begins at 7:10 pm and the Yard Goats will be playing the Portland Sea Dogs. Families who had tickets for the September 9th game may attend the make-up game at no charge. If you had tickets for the September 9, 2023 game and would like to attend the make-up game on April 23 rd at Dunkin’ Park, please contact Judy Nevins at presidentoffice@saintteresacatholic.org or 860-643-2403, Ext. 154.
