Pre-K Field Trip to Kindergarten

Today our Pre-K4 students visited the big school Kindergarten classrooms AND spent some time in the Innovation Lab with Mrs. Poth.  The innovation lab, where students explore coding, engineering, and other STEM-related topics) is one of the weekly specials students at SJS enjoy beginning in Kindergarten.

Blue & Gold Pep Rally

We closed out Catholic Schools Week on Friday with a blue & gold spirit day and an afternoon pep rally with lots of spirited fun.  Thank you to the SJS Student Council for hosting this fun tradition! 

Collection for Little Sisters of the Poor

A huge Thank You to everyone who sent in donations earlier this week for our collection for Little Sisters of the Poor! We packed an entire van with much needed supplies for this wonderful organization.

Crazy Hair, Hat, & Sock Day

Today, for Catholic Schools Week, we are celebrating our students from head to toe with a crazy hair, hat, and sock day.  Lots of fun with this one!

Manchester Catholic Basketball Fun

Last night we enjoyed a wonderful community event as the Saint James boys & girls varsity basketball teams played sister school Saint Bridget at East Catholic High School.  Thank you to all the families that came out for one or both games – we had a packed cheering section!

Congratulations Penmanship Winners!

Congratulations to the winners of this year’s Saint James School Zaner-Bloser Handwriting Contest (for Kindergarten – 5th grade). The 1st place winners will now be submitted to the State level.

5th Grade Hands-On Learning

Our fifth graders have enjoyed some great projects over the last couple of months as they learned about Native American long houses, the circulatory system, and the Rain Forest.  Also, a few pictures from a classroom engineering challenge. Nice work Sabers!

Snow Much Fun in Pre-K4
