VIRTUS Training Class Added At SJS

We are pleased to announce that a VIRTUS training class will be held at Saint James School on October 17th at 6:30 pm.

There is no cost to attend, but you must call the school office at (860) 643-5088 (option 1) to RSVP for this event.   If you have already signed up for a different session but wish to switch, please call the school office to let them know.

Remember, all parents/grandparents, etc. wishing to volunteer at Saint James School must complete a background check form and attend a VIRTUS training session.

Volunteers who have already completed a background check and attended VIRTUS training in years past do NOT need to do it again this year.  It is a one time requirement.

Parent/Student Handbook Signature Page Due

Just a reminder that the last page of the 2012-2013 Parent/Student Handbook (sent home earlier this week) is to be signed and returned to the school as soon as possible.

If you need another copy of the handbook (with signature page) it can be accessed by going to www.saintjamesschool.net and selecting “Forms & Documents” from the yellow links on the right-hand side.  The Parent/Student Handbook can be found under the section “General School Documents.”

The Lunch Calendar can be found on the right-hand side of the homepage under the yellow quick links section (2nd button down).

Hot Lunch Begins Thursday 9/6

We are looking forward to seeing you all next week. We wanted to let you know that there will be NO HOT LUNCH on Wednesday September 5, 2012. Hot lunch will begin on Thursday September 6th. Please be sure to pack a lunch on Wednesday!
