8th Graders Build Wave Machine

During science today each of our 8th grade classes built a simple “wave machine,” which was then used to observe the various properties of waves they have been discussing in class – frequency, amplitude, wave length, and speed. Great work Sabers!

Congratulations to all our Kindergarten through 6th grade students for an awesome job of reading during the contest period!  Thank you to all the teachers and parents for their support in encouraging the students to participate.

SJS Robotics Team Shines at Virtual Competition

On Saturday the Saint James Middle School Robotics team participated (virtually) in the Archdiocese of Hartford’s VEX Robotics IQ Challenge, which consisted of teams from 10 area schools.  Out of the three challenges, SJS took home two 1st place prizes and one runner up!
