A huge Thank You to all our families and friends who came out for the Saint James School Gala & Auction Fundraiser this past Saturday! Everyone was commenting on what a fun evening it was and we raised a significant amount of money – over $22,000 – for SJS! Here are some pictures from the evening:
SJS 5th Grade Student Wins Knights of Columbus State Free Throw Contest
Congratulations to Saint James School 5th Grade Student Nicholas Sickman for winning 1st place in his age group at the Knights of Columbus Free Throw Contest State Championships on Sunday!
Middle School Students & Parents – Special Lenten Prayer Service @ SJS
The Saint James School Student Council will be sponsoring Prayer Services twice a week during the Lenten season for middle school students. The main intentions will be for: Peace throughout the world; continued Blessings upon the USA; our families; and any special intentions that students bring to the service. We also welcome any parents who would like to join us in prayer.
We hope you will join us in Room 7-14 at 7:30am on the following mornings:
March – 14, 19, 21, 26, 28
April – 3, 4, 8, 11
Students who will come early to pray are asked to return the attached form (click link) with a parent’s/guardian’s signature and dates they plan to attend filled out.

This coming Monday, March 17th, students may dress down in Green & White for a $1.00 donation. There will be a St. Patrick’s Day celebration after lunch including an Irish Step Dancing performance by several of our Saint James School students.

IMPORTANT: Thursday
Mrs. Kanute would like to inform parents that if there is a delayed opening tomorrow (Thursday) due to weather, the day will be switched to a FULL DAY with 2:05pm dismissal (instead of 12:05pm).
If there is not a delayed opening, the scheduled 12:05pm dismissal will remain in place.
Important: Please note, if there is a delayed opening and school is extended to 2:05pm, all students will need to bring lunch and a drink from home. There will not be hot lunch or milk available.
Early Dismissal Day (12:05pm) This Thursday
Just a reminder that this Thursday (March 13th) students will be dismissed at 12:05pm for a professional learning day. Aftercare will be in session.
