Important: School Lunch Payment Program
*Please take time this weekend to register your family with EZSchoolPay.com if you have not already done so.*
Just a reminder that every student should have brought home information yesterday about the new hot lunch payment program as we transition to using EZSchoolPay.com for payment and tracking of SJS hot lunch accounts. With the information sent home, there was a letter for each child that listed their personal pin number. Please be sure to save this information.
The new program will go into effect on Monday with your current hot lunch account balance being transferred by the school directly into the EZSchoolPay system sometime between Friday afternoon and lunchtime Monday.
With this new system you will be able to:
- Add payments to your child’s hot lunch account anytime using Visa or MasterCard
- View meal transactions and current balances at any time
- Set a low-balance e-mail alert to remind you when funds need to be added

2015 Gala Thank You!
A huge Thank You to all the parents, staff, and friends who came out for the 2015 Saint James School Gala on Saturday. The feedback has been very positive and, while we are still totaling the exact proceeds from the event, we know we raised a lot of money in support of Saint James School.
Of course, we could not have done it without the amazing support and hard work of the Gala Committee and all the volunteers that worked at the event. Thank you to Gala Chair Paul Munns for pulling it all together and to volunteer Jen Fiereck of J. Fiereck Photography for the fun pictures (a few of which are below). And last, but not least, THANK YOU to all the parents, staff, and friends who donated items for the class baskets or for the live and silent auctions. We could not have done it without your support – Saint James is certainly blessed to have such a wonderful school community!
Congratulations SJS JV Girls Basketball!
A huge congratulations to the Saint James School JV Girls basketball team. This past weekend, the girls advanced to the state semi-finals which will be held in Watertown, CT this coming Saturday! Way to go Sabers!
Chess Club & Chess Sets
The SJS Chess Club will have its first meeting after school today. Students who did not get their permission slip in today are still welcome to attend to find out more about the club. Also, Father Casey and Mrs. O’Neill are looking for a few extra chess sets for the group to use. If anyone has one they would be willing donate, please bring it to the main office.
