Boys Varsity Basketball Location Change
The boys varsity gold basketball team will be playing on Friday night at 6:00pm at East Hartford Middle School vs. St Chris. Parents are asked to have players at the EHMS gym no later than 5:30pm.
Band Notice
Mr. Corcoran would like to remind band students that lessons and band will meet Thursday for grades 4 and 5 and Friday for grades 5 – 8.
1st Grade Students Learn About Heart Health
Several senior nursing students from the University of St. Joseph in West Hartford stopped by today to talk to our 1st graders about good eating habits and other ways to keep your heart healthy. Attached below are a few pictures that Mrs. Cunningham and Mrs. Belsito took.

RSVPs Due Tomorrow: SJS Family Pasta Dinner
RSVPs due tomorrow: Bring the whole family and join your friends from Saint James School as the HSA hosts another delicious Pasta Dinner catered by Olive Garden in Manchester. The Light is on for You!
During lent St. James Church is happy to participate in “The Light is on for You” Campaign. St. James Church will be open for confession every Monday night from 6:00pm-7:00pm. Please consider stopping by. If you don’t remember how to go to confession, that is no problem simply tell Father and he will help you along. If you prefer to go to a different Church that is ok too, EVERY Church in the Archdiocese will be open for confession tonight from 6:00pm-7:00pm and every subsequent Monday night for the remainder of lent.

A reminder that returning family registration forms (and deposit) are due to the school by this Friday, February 27th.
Gala Invites
It has come to the attention of the Gala Committee that some families did not receive their Gala invitation home in their child’s folder or the RSVP card was missing from the envelope. If this is the case, there are extra invitations available in the Main Office. Please drop by to pick one up or call to have one sent home with your child. RSVP Deadline Extended to Tomorrow: SJS Fun Day at Jumpin Jonnies – 2/19
Looking for something fun to do with your little ones over February Vacation? The Saint James School HSA is hosting a private party/fundraiser on 2/19 for SJS families at Jumpin Jonnies in Vernon between the hours of 10:00am-12:00pm. The cost is $12 per child for bouncing, a slice of pizza, and a drink – and 25% of the proceeds from the event go back to Saint James School.

You're Invited: A Biblical Walk Through the Mass
Saint James Church will be hosting this special study of the Mass on Wednesday mornings beginning Feb. 25th from 9:00am – 10:30am. The program will run for 5 consecutive weeks. The cost is $20 which includes the book, “A Biblical Walk Through the Mass” and a study guide. Scholarships for the course are available if needed.
