Just a reminder that all Hats Off to Reading logs are due this coming Monday, April 3rd, to qualify for the contest.
Best of luck to the Saint James Girls Varsity Basketball team as they compete in the New England CYO championships this weekend! The team will be playing tomorrow (Saturday) at 10:30am at St. Joseph High School in Trumbull, CT vs. St. Mary’s of the Fall River, MA Diocese.
Attached is the April Lunch Calendar. Copies are being sent home with students in their school folders, however it is missing the lunch for Monday, April 17th, which we are in session for as a snow day make-up. The attached calendar, which is also being posted on the homepage of our school website, has the lunch for that missing date (Toasted Cheese Sandwich, etc.).
The next SJS Book/Art club (for grades 1-3) will be held on April 19th. Completed permission slips (below) and payment are due back to the school by Tuesday, 4/4.

As a reminder, there is no school tomorrow – Wednesday (3/29) – as teachers will be at a conference all day.
A huge Thank You to all the parents, staff, and friends who came out for the 2017 Saint James School Gala on Saturday. We had over 140 attendees and raised approximately $15,000 in support of Saint James School!
Of course, we could not have done it without the amazing support and hard work of the Gala Committee (picture below) and all the volunteers that worked at the event. A special thank you to Gala Chairs Tara Moriarty and Paul Munns for pulling it all together and to volunteer Jen Fiereck of J. Fiereck Photography for the fun pictures (see link below). And last, but not least, THANK YOU to all the parents, staff, and friends who donated items for the class baskets or for the live and silent auctions. We could not have done it without your support – Saint James is certainly blessed to have such a wonderful school community! We hope to see you all again next year at this fun, annual event!
