Basketball: 8th Grade Night Tonight

Thank you to everyone who came out for last night’s Varsity Gold vs. Varsity Blue basketball game.  It was such a fun night with lots of Saint James School Spirit!!

Tonight we also have another very special Basketball event that everyone is welcome to attend.  As we near the end of regular season play, in a time-honored tradition tonight we will recognize our 8th grade players and their parents.  This evening’s festivities will begin at SJS at 5:30pm when our Varsity Girls play St. Christopher School, followed by our Varsity Gold Boys playing St. Christopher School at 6:30pm.  The special presentation for 8th grade players and their parents will take place in between the two games.

Boys Varsity Blue will play at 7:30pm.

We will again have concessions again tonight at well.

We hope to see you there!

Please join us this evening in the school gym for a fun, free event as our two SJS boys Varsity basketball teams go head-to-head!

Sammy the Saber will be in attendance and our concessions table will be up and running for this special event!

Reminder: Saint James School Soirée RSVPs Due Tomorrow

As a reminder, RSVPs for the 2018 Saint James School Silver & Gold Soirée are due to the Main Office by tomorrow, Friday, March 2nd.  We have a lot of great new ideas lined up for this year’s event so please come out and join us for a fun evening with cocktails and hors d’oeuvres as we celebrate the community we share and raise money for our great school.

Mother/Son UCONN Game

Thank you to all the moms and sons who attended the Mother/Son event at the UCONN Basketball game yesterday.  It was a great time cheering on the team, eating yummy food and catching up with friends!  A big thank you goes to Mrs. Cattanach for organizing the event.

Thank you to all the moms and sons who have signed up and purchased tickets to this year’s mother son event at UCONN on Sunday, February 25th for the men’s basketball game.  Please arrive to the box office 15 minutes early to receive your tickets.  Tickets will be in envelopes on hold underneath each mom’s/son’s name.  We can’t wait to have some fun all together and cheer on the Huskys!!

Please also remember we have a 12:05pm dismissal day coming up on March 8th (aftercare will be in session).

2018-2019 Registration Reminder

As a reminder, the 2018-2019 registration paperwork for RETURNING families was sent out via e-mail on Thursday, February 1st.  If you did not receive the e-mail, please e-mail Amy Guenther at aguenther@saintjamesschool.net.

If you would prefer a hard copy of the registration paperwork, please call or e-mail Mrs. Sager in the main office and she will send one home with your child.  Registration paperwork is due back to the office by February 26th.

Registration for new families joining SJS for the 2018-2019 school year will begin in early March.
