Just a reminder that the Robotics Club will be meeting this Friday (4/12) after school.

Just a reminder that Saint James School will be holding a used book sale to benefit our school library.  Students will have an opportunity to shop for books on Tuesday, April 9th.  Books & children’s DVDs will range in price from $0.25 to $1.oo.  There may also be special “bundles” available for select series.

If your child may be purchasing books/dvds, please send them with small bills if possible and possibly an extra bag to bring the books home in (if you don’t think they will fit in their backpack).

Parents are also welcome to visit the book sale, which will be open until 3:00pm both Tuesday and Wednesday.

Save the Date!  The 14^th Annual Father Daughter Dance (Masquerade Ball) will be held May 11th from 6:00-9:00pm.  Stay tuned for further information, which will be send home following April Vacation.

St. James Soccer Update  Week of April 3rd – 6th

St. James Soccer practice was scheduled to start for all players tomorrow, April 3. Given the predicted wind chills in the upper 30’s, we have decided to cancel the practice for the 3rd, 4th and 5th graders. A short practice will be held for the 6th, 7th and 8th graders. This is to allow the players to meet the coaches and for us to distribute Jerseys. Practice will start at 6:00 pm and we will be finished by 7:00 pm.

The first games for the 6th, 7th and 8th graders will be on this Saturday April 6th. A final schedule of the times of the game times is forthcoming. The first games for the 3rd, 4th and 5th graders will be on Saturday April 13th. This schedule is not final.

Also, If you wanted to coach soccer (or do other volunteer work at the school) but have not yet completed the Virtus Training,  there is a session on April 25 (6:30 pm – 9:00 pm) at St. James.
