The cross country team finished an outstanding season at the CT Middle School Championships, where 36 schools competed this past Saturday. Sixth Grader Isabelle B. had an incredible performance, placing 7th out of a field of 278 runners. Another exceptional race came from Ally A., who placed 13th overall and 2nd for SJS. Following her was Elizabeth M. running a terrific race and placing 28th. All three girls took home medals for their outstanding accomplishments. Maeve W., Victoria C., Sophie K., and Emily Goodwin rounded out the team with incredible performances.
For the boys, 8th grader Ryan L. ran an outstanding race, placing 20th our of a field of 321 runners. Nathan M. saved his best race for last, placing 48th, followed by 6th grader Dominic C. in 68th. All three boys took home medals for their excellent performances. Nathan K. rounded out the boys competing in the race, placing in the top one-third of the field.

Boys Basketball (All) Notes

There is no Varsity Boys practice tonight due to the ECHS open house. Also, all boys practices on 11/13 are cancelled due to a meeting in the gym.

1. Please send your child(ren)’s coach your personal contact info ( email and cell) ;
2. Remember the deadline to order SJS Basketball Gear is Tuesday Nov 11th ;
3. A contact list for the coaches can be found here and on the basketball webpage;

Varsity Gold Practice Correction

Players will start in the gym for a team meeting at 6:00pm followed by practice from 6:45pm to 8:30pm in the gym.
