Today: MAP Testing Results

For students in grades 3 – 7 (with the exception of Mr. Adams’ homeroom) please note that your child’s MAP testing results for the 2022-2023 school year will be coming home with them today.  Please be sure to look for this information in their folder/expandable.  As Mr. Adams was not in school today, his homeroom will receive their results on Monday.

Next Week’s Schedule

As a reminder, Saint James School will have 12:05pm dismissal on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday of next week, with Wednesday being our last day of school for the 2022-2023 school year!

Aftercare will be in session all three days next week – students attending aftercare will need a lunch from home on those days (no hot lunch is served on early dismissal days).

Also, for bus students – please note – we WILL have all five of our buses this coming Wednesday.

Uniform Closet Reminder

If your child has outgrown their SJS uniform items, please remember to donate them to our school’s Uniform Closet!  Uniform items in good condition may be brought to the main office at anytime throughout the school year and during the summer.

Also, as a reminder, parents wishing to look through items in the uniform closet over the summer should call the SJS main office in advance of stopping by to make sure someone is available to let you in (summer hours for the main office will be 9am – 12pm most days).

Field Day 2023 was a BLAST!! Thank you to a great group of SJS graduates for coming back to help and to our awesome 7th graders for helping to run the various stations. And, of course, a huge shout out to Mr. Green for organizing this fun day for our students!

Tomorrow: Field Day!

Saint James School will host a fun-filled field day for all Kindergarten through 7th Grade students on Thursday, June 8th (rain date: June 9th).  Tomorrow students should come to school in their SJS gym shorts, gym sneakers, and designated-color short sleeve T-shirt:

Kindergarten:  White
First Grade:  Red
Second Grade:  Orange
Third Grade:  Yellow
Fourth Grade:  Green
Fifth Grade:  Blue
Sixth Grade:  Purple
Seventh Grade:  Tie-Dye

Please be sure your student brings a refillable water bottle to school on field day!

JV Soccer Uniform Reminder

The JV soccer season has concluded and all uniforms are now due back to the school.  All soccer uniforms must be cleaned and returned to the school in a sealed baggie labeled with your student’s name.

Reminder: Dennis Uniform Today

A representative from Dennis Uniform will be set up in the Saint James School gymnasium on Monday, June 5th from 2:00pm – 3:00pm to help families with uniform sizing for the upcoming school year.  If you would like to view our Dennis Uniform items and receive help with sizing, please join us today after school.

We will also be hosting a representative from Lands’ End on July 6th from 10am – 12pm.
