During the month of January, Saint James School has been collecting toiletries and needed supplies for the non-profit group Community Partners in Action. If you would like to contribute, please have your item(s) in by tomorrow. Suggested donations by grade are as follows:
Pre-K and Kindergarten: q-tips, shampoo/conditioner all in one, soap, razors/shaving cream, neck ties, dress shirts and belts (Adult Small-3XL)
1st – 5th grade: toothbrush/toothpaste, lotion, powder, sweatpants, shorts and pants (Adult Small – 3XL)
6th – 8th: nail clippers, towels/washcloths, brushes/combs, T-shirts, socks and boxers (Adult Small – 3 XL)
As always, we appreciate any support you can provide.

Reminder: 1st Communion/1st Penance Meeting Tomorrow Night
/in St. James Notices /by Saint James SchoolPlease find attached a letter from Mrs. Macy Jordan, the religious education coordinator for Saint James Church. If your child will receive the sacraments of First Penance/First Communion this year (2nd grade and up), this letter contains important information about a required meeting for parents along with other important dates.
If your child has not been baptized yet and you would like them to be so they may receive the Catholic sacraments this year or in the future, please contact Macy (her contact information is in the letter).

/in St. James Notices /by Saint James SchoolAs a reminder, in the event of an early dismissal, all SJS aftercare students must be picked up by 1:00pm. There is a chance of snow beginning late tomorrow morning to early afternoon, so please make sure you have downloaded one of the local weather apps, subscribed to Text Notifications for Manchester Public Schools (we follow the Manchester Public School Schedule), and have a contingency plan for pickup in the event of an early dismissal.

Mother/Son Wolf Pack Game
/in St. James Notices /by Saint James SchoolThe HSA invites all SJS boys and their moms (or any special women in their lives) to attend a Wolf Pack game on Sunday, March 5 at 3pm at the XL Center in Hartford.
