Thank you to all the families that signed up already! Please sign up today if you have not already done so and are willing to help out.
Please help us welcome new families and friends to Saint James School by signing up to be a 2017 Buddy Family (click here to sign up to be a Buddy Family).
A Buddy Family is any current Saint James family that is willing to be a resource for questions that a new, incoming (K-8) family may have during the summer and at the start of the school year.
We typically assign each of our buddy families two new families. If you have never been a buddy family before, please know it does not require a lot of time.
Buddy families will also receive an invitation to attend the back to school meet & sweet ice cream social (along with the new families and staff) on August 29th.
If you have any questions, please contact Amy Guenther at aguenther@saintjamesschool.net. Otherwise, please click on the link above to sign up and you will be contacted via e-mail shortly after school lets out with more information. As always, we sincerely thank you for your support and for helping us welcome new families and friends to Saint James School!

8th Grade Team Wins Varsity Playoffs
/in St. James Notices /by Saint James SchoolCongratulations to the 8th grade varsity soccer team, for finishing their regular season undefeated as well as winning the league championships this past weekend!!
Playoff game one was against St. Gabriel’s, defending champions from last year. Saint James came out strong ending the first half 3-0 and dominating the game until the end with a 4-0 win.
The Championship game was against Corpus Christi who beat St John Paul in a close 2-1 victory earlier that morning. SJS defeated Corpus in an intense, well played game ending in a score of 2-1. The team closed out the season as undefeated Champions, bringing home 2 more trophies for our school.
Phenomenal effort was shown by everyone on and off the field. Alec Bairos led the team with 4 of the 6 goals scored in the tournament, with assistance from Asrar Hossain. A special acknowledgement also to the team’s goal keepers Dominic Cavallo and Kyle Pelletier for making some tremendous saves in both games to secure the victory.
