Saint James students will be serving in many capacities including altar servers, readers, and gift bearers. And, our Saint James School Choir will also be singing! A reception in the lower church will follow the mass with coffee, juice, and donuts provided.
All Saint James School families are welcome regardless of faith or home parish. Please wear your Saint James School uniform (all students serving in any capacity are required to wear their uniform). We hope to see you there!

Special Thanks to Carson Herr for reading, our school Choir (led by Mrs. Archangeli) for a wonderful first performance of the year, our gift bearers & greeters – Michael Machewirth, Taylor Roy, Jason Dufresne – and altar servers Brendan Guenther & AJ McBride.
Also, special thanks to Father Ryan Lerner (himself an SJS graduate) for traveling up to say the Mass and to Kerry Patsalides (an SJS graduate as well as a current SJS parent) for accompanying the choir on the Flute.

Basketball Schedule
/in St. James Notices /by jonesenThe Basketball Coaches are working on adding their schedules to a special calendar on the SJS Website. To view the calendar, please go to the Extra Curricular Tab and select Basketball. If you scroll down, you will see the schedule.
The JV Boys will practice in the gym today at 4:00pm. Tomorrow Kincheloe’s 4th & 5th Grade team will practice at 8:30; Chomick’s team at 11:00. JV Boys are back in the gym at 12:15.
Varsity boys are practicing on Sunday and Girls teams practice Monday.

Tonight: Come Join The 2018 SJS GALA Committee!

Erin Daley will be chairing the event this year and she will need a lot of help in the various sub-committees. Cold Weather is Coming!
/in St. James Notices /by jonesenTeachers and staff would like to remind parents/guardians (particularly for the younger grades) that students need to come to school dressed for the colder weather now. K – 8 students will still be outside in the morning (weather permitting) and all Pre-K through 5th grade go outside for a formal recess each day. Warm coats and hats will ensure your child is comfortable playing outside with their classmates.

If your child is going to aftercare tomorrow – or staying after to work on their Szopka with Ms. O, they will need a lunch from home.
Saint James School has a FULL DAY of school on Friday of this week (many public schools are closed). Please note that there is NO HOT LUNCH being served this Friday so ALL STUDENTS WILL NEED A LUNCH AND DRINK FROM HOME this Friday.
