Blue & Gold Pep Rally 2017

On Friday, Kindergarten through Grade 8 students celebrated Saint James School during the annual Blue & Gold Pep Rally.  Students enjoyed fun relay games – hosted by the Student Council members – then watched as the boys Varsity Basketball team played the Girls Varsity Basketball team.  And, the highlight of the afternoon – the teachers vs. 8th grade basketball game!

You can watch a short clip of the 8th grade girls vs. boys HERE.

Thank You!

Thank you to everyone who donated items for the St. Vincent de Paul Shelter.  The items were picked up today.

Registration for 2018-2019

We are trying something new this year and sending the registration paperwork for RETURNING families out via e-mail.  If you are a SJS parent with a child in Pre-K3 through 7th Grade, you  should have received an e-mail a short time ago with paperwork/instructions on registering your child for the 2018-2019 school year.  If you did not receive the e-mail, please e-mail Amy Guenther at aguenther@saintjamesschool.net.

This year’s registration paperwork is a “fillable” form – so you should be able to type in your information.   You must, however, print the paperwork and sign the tuition contract.  The original, signed copy must be sent back to the SJS office (you can send it through your child or drop it off yourself).

The Code Red & Photo Permissions forms for next year will be completed at a later time.

Copies of all the forms sent out via e-mail today will be available in the main office for any family that prefers to have a hard copy.  Please call Mrs. Sager in the main office if you would like one sent home with your child.

If you are unable to see the fillable document on your phone or tablet, simply download the Adobe Acrobat App first, then select the option to open the form in Adobe Acrobat.

Ski Club

The January 5th cancelled ski club trip has been rescheduled to Wednesday, February 7th, a 12:05pm dismissal day.   The bus will depart SJS at 12:15 and return at approximately 6:45pm.

Last Call: Catholic Schools Month Collection

As part of Catholic Schools Month, the Saint James School student council is spearheading a collection to help those in need. Throughout the next two weeks leading up to our school’s blue & gold pep rally, student council is asking students to bring in supplies for the St. Vincent de Paul Shelter.  Please consider sending in items such as:

  • Thermal socks
  • Gloves
  • Toiletries: deodorant, shampoo, conditioner, soap, toothpaste, toothbrushes, razors, and shaving cream

The boxes of donations will be collected from each of the homerooms on Friday, February 2nd.

As always, we thank you for your consideration and support.
