Reminder About Milk Purchases

As a reminder, if your child is purchasing just milk (to have with their lunch from home) there is a $0.40 charge.  It is only when students buy a full hot lunch that it is free, as per the terms of the “free lunch” grant from the state.  This was communicated when we announced the free lunch program earlier in the school year.  Extra food items are also an additional charge.

Please check your child’s lunch account balance and submit to the school any money owed.  Also, if students will be purchasing just milk going forward, please make sure you fund their account (you can send a check/cash into the school in an envelope with your child’s name on it).

Remote Learner Pick-Up Day Tomorrow

As a reminder, tomorrow Friday (2/5) is a remote learner pick-up day.  Boxes will be outside the gymnasium from 2:30pm – 4:30om.

Catholic Schools’ Week Video

As part of our Catholic Schools’ Week Celebration, we asked students to reflect upon what they have learned by studying the Catholic faith during their time at Saint James School.  We had a lot of student volunteers who were excited to share their thoughts with the SJS community:
