Saint James School is pleased to welcome Mrs. Carally McKeever-DeLeon in the role of General Music Teacher for the Saint James Middle School program.
Mrs. McKeever-DeLeon comes to us with a wealth of experience as an orchestra director, choral leader, and general music teacher at both the High School and Middle School level. She has a Master’s Degree in Music Education and is certified through the State of Connecticut to teach all levels of students. In addition to her experience teaching within a school setting, Mrs. McKeever-DeLeon teaches private lessons in both piano and violin, performs professionally around the region, and is involved with local children’s theater groups.
We are excited for Mrs. McKeever-DeLeon to begin working with our middle school students starting February 9th.
Please note, we continue to seek a highly-qualified general music teacher for our elementary school grades and are exceptionally grateful to the homeroom teachers for stepping in to fill this role in the interim.

Catholic Schools Week Video
/in St. James Notices /by Saint James SchoolIn honor of National Catholic Schools week, students were asked to write about why they like going to a Catholic School/Saint James School. We have also been talking about what it means to be part of a Catholic School community and reminding students that parents/guardians often make sacrifices in order for their student(s) to be here. We had lots of volunteers willing to share their thoughts on camera. Here are some of them: https://youtu.be/OFUsfzmFfvA
