We had a great first ski/snowboard club trip on Friday night with approximately 60 SJS students participating this year! Special thanks to all the parents that are assisting this year by hitting the slopes or hanging out in the lodge.

As a reminder for families that purchased tickets for Sunday’s UCONN basketball game and/or the game in February, tickets were sent home with students yesterday (Wednesday). Our Winter Chess Club kicked off yesterday afternoon with lots of game-play and fun, strategy discussion with Mr. Aldi.
All parents with a child participating in this year’s SJS Ski & Snowboard Club should have received an email earlier today with information about our upcoming trips. If you did not receive the email, you may reach out to Amy Guenther (aguenther@saintjamesschool.net) for another copy. We are looking forward to a great season!

For families using the town of Manchester’s School Bus App, please note that it is not yet working correctly on Wednesday afternoons with the combined bus schedule.
As a reminder for students that signed up for our winter Chess Club, the first meeting is this Wednesday, January 11th after school. Students will need to bring a note from home for their teacher stating that they are staying after for Chess Club.
This evening our Saint James School Varsity Basketball teams will host St. Timothy here at home. Families are welcome to attend to cheer them on: Girls Varsity – 6:00pm; Boys Varsity – 7:15pm; Our SJS Cheerleaders will be cheering this evening at the 7:15pm game. Go SABERS!
