Grade 8 Hosts International Day Showcase!
Congratulations to the Saint James School 8th Grade class on an outstanding job hosting International Day today! In addition to turning in a written report and giving an oral presentation to their classmates, parents, teachers, and younger peers, the students also created/displayed maps, a travel brochure, a travel website, and prepared local cuisine from their assigned country. Great job Sabers!!!
Archbishop Coyne Visits Manchester
Yesterday, Saint James School (and our sister school Saint Bridget) were thrilled to celebrate Mass with Coadjutor Archbishop Christopher J. Coyne, who will succeed Archbishop Blair upon his retirement later this year. Read Across America Character Day
Today our K - 5th grade classes enjoyed an optional character dress up day in honor of Read Across America. Our school librarian, Mrs. Tierney, will be hosting fun activities throughout the month of March including a reading contest for K-8 students that kicked off this week.
Acrobat Li Liu Performs for Students
Today our kindergarten through grade 8 students enjoyed a special enrichment program presented by Chinese acrobat Li Liu. Born in Bejing, China, Ms. Liu has been all over the world performing as part of a traveling circus.
Stripes for a Cause
Yesterday our students and staff dressed down in striped attire for $1.00+ donation to the National Organization for Rare Disorders (NORA). Together we raised over $500 for this wonderful organization!

Observing Ash Wednesday
Today our K-8 students observed Ash Wednesday with a prayer service with Father Marcin and Deacon Ramon, with Pre-K3 through Grade 8 students having the opportunity to receive ashes. Since today is also Valentine's Day, our students/staff also participated in a $1.00+ dress down day in support of The American Heart Association.
