2nd Grade Paul Klee Inspired Art
During yesterday's art class, SJS 2nd graders finished their lesson on artist Paul Klee (known for his "cubism" style of work). Students used watercolors, markers, and crayons to make different shades of color as also seen in Klee's artistic style. Great job Sabers!
Candy Bar Bingo Fun
Lots of smiles and fun at Saturday's Candy Bar Bingo event sponsored by the SJS Home & School Association. Special thanks to our awesome 7th & 8th grade volunteers for helping us set-up and run the event and to Mrs. Poth for chairing.
1st Grade Prayer Towers
During their STREAM class, SJS 1st graders wrote (or drew a picture of) something they would like to pray for on a colored index card - then built the tallest tower possible out of 10 flat and 10 folded cards to help them lift that prayer up to God.

Remembering September 11th
This afternoon, we all came together outside in remembrance and reflection, and to dedicate our school’s new 9/11 memorial garden (designed/created by volunteer Mr. Zaremba ). We concluded the special ceremony by singing, “God Bless America.”

SJS Wraps Up JV Soccer Season
Congratulations to the Saint James Cobalt JV Soccer Team (5th grade) for finishing the season in 1st place with an impressive 9-1-0 record. In addition to finishing the regular season in 1st place, the team also took home a 1st place finish in the Final Four Tournament this past weekend.
