Catholic Schools Week
This week we are celebrating Catholic School’s Week, a time set aside for Catholic schools across the country to celebrate and honor the importance, the value, and the contributions of Catholic education in our society. Please see THIS FLYER for all the events taking place this week. A couple of important highlights:

Please keep sending in donations for Little Sisters of the Poor and Wildfire Relief (see above flyer for details).
Tuesday (1/28)
We will host an open house for families not currently enrolled in our K-8 program that would like to learn more about SJS. Please encourage anyone you know that is looking at school options for Fall 2025 to join us! We do require families to RSVP for this open house. Please have them call the school if they need additional information.
Thank you to everyone who has already liked, commented on, and/or shared our Open House post on Facebook and Instagram…. If you have not already done so, please take a few moments to do so now by clicking HERE for Facebook and HERE for Instagram to help us spread the word.
On Tuesday night, our Varsity Girls and Varsity Gold Boys basketball teams will play at East Catholic High School. The girls’ game starts at 6:00pm; the boys will play at 7:15pm. All SJS families are invited to join us at East Catholic to cheer on the Sabers!
Wednesday (1/29)
On Wednesday, our Pre-K4 students will visit the big school for our annual “Field Trip to Kindergarten.”
Then, SJS K-8 students will enjoy a fun and inspiring assembly with artist-extraordinaire, Rob Surette. Mr. Surette is a Top-Tier Master Fine Artist for Disney and other well-known organizations such as Marvel, DreamWorks, and DC Comics. He has appeared on The TODAY Show, The Tonight Show, Good Morning America, and The Oprah Winfrey Show!
For families who have been with SJS for a few years, you may recall Mr. Surette put on an amazing performance for our students and staff a few years back. You can watch a short video clip on Mr. Surette HERE.
