Reminder: 2017 SJS Gala This Saturday!

As a reminder for those who purchased tickets, tomorrow evening’s Gala event is being held at Rentschler Field Banquet Facility in East Hartford.  Please remember to bring cash or checks for class basket tickets and the 50/50 raffle tickets.  Credit cards will be accepted for silent/live auction bids, however we have to pay a fee for each credit transaction so checks are preferred.

Volunteers Needed

On Thursday, March 30 at 6:00pm parent volunteers will be sorting the Munson’s Fundraiser orders in the school gym.  Please email Megan Hunt at meganhunt727@gmail.com if you are able to help — a few extra set of hands would be greatly appreciated.  Thank you!

 

Spring Conferences/Early Dismissal Days

As a reminder, Saint James School will have early dismissal days (12:05pm) March 22nd and March 23rd (this Wednesday and Thursday)  – for Spring Parent/Teacher Conferences.  Aftercare will be in session but, please remember, students will need to bring a lunch from home due to no hot lunch being served those days.

Gala & Auction: RSVP by Friday!

The Saint James School Gala & Auction Fundraiser is fast approaching!  RSVPs were due today!  If you still plan to attend but didn’t get in your invite to the office in time, please e-mail Iwona Leger at iwonaleger@aol.com.  If you misplaced the invitation/RSVP sent home with your SJS Student, you can download a copy HERE.

Enjoy a fun night out with other friends of the Saint James Community and enjoy a buffet dinner that includes Chicken Francaise or Grilled Flank Steak w/ Balsamic-Cassis Reduction, Roasted Sweet Potatoes, and Seasonal Mixed Veggies.   Enjoy appetizers and a cash bar along with our fun Auctioneer, Corey Meyers from 92.5fm, a DJ, silent & live auction, and raffles!  Thank you to the many local businesses & SJS Parents who have already donated items or advertising, including the following:
