Last Call: 2020-2021 Yearbook Order Forms
As a reminder, the deadline to order a Saint James School yearbook for the 2020-2021 school year is TODAY – Friday, March 19th, 2021.
Yearbook order forms were sent home in January You may also order your yearbook online at ybpay.lifetouch.com and enter the code: 9708621.
Please note, all Grade 8 students will automatically receive a yearbook at no-charge (parents do NOT need to order one for their students).
3rd Grade Stem Club Signups
Two Spots Left!
STEM Club for 3rd grade students will be held on Thursday, March 25 from 2:10-3:00pm. There will be a limit of 9 students in this session. If your child would like to attend, please fill out the Form below. If more than 9 students are interested, there will be a waitlist and students on the waitlist will be given priority for the next 3rd grade session.
St. Joseph’s Day Tomorrow (Friday)
Tomorrow – Friday, March 19th – we will honor the feast day of St. Joseph by inviting students/staff to wear a RED SHIRT, along with their regular uniform bottoms (if this is your child’s gym day, they would wear their navy sweatpants with the red shirt).
Travel Policy Update
Saint James School will continue to follow the Manchester Board of Education Travel Policy. This policy is outlined on the “Covid Info” page of our website and may also be found HERE.
Please note that our travel policy has been updated to include information on “fully vaccinated” adults.
St. Patrick’s Day & St. Joseph’s Day
Students are invited to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day on Wednesday, March 17th by wearing a GREEN SHIRT, along with their regular uniform bottoms.
On Friday, March 19th, we will honor the feast day of St. Joseph by inviting students to wear a RED SHIRT, along with their regular uniform bottoms (if this is your child’s gym day, they would wear their navy sweatpants with the red shirt).
Soccer Update
Thank you to everyone who expressed an interest in the SJS Spring Soccer Program. Please note the following:
3rd Grade – Needs a few more students to sign up in order to have a team this year;
5th Grade – Needs a Coach in order to have a team this year;
7th Grade – Needs a Coach AND a few more students in order to have a team this year;
Please reach out to Mr. Green (cgreen@saintjamesschool.net) if you can help coach any of the three grades highlighted or if you would like to add your student to the roster for 3rd or 7th grade. Without coaches or enough students, we cannot run a team for that grade.
A Note From Mrs. Zorger
Dear SJS Families,
As another great week of learning comes to a close, I wanted to take the opportunity to once again thank you for your continuous efforts to help our school community remain healthy. I am grateful to all our families for heeding the request to be exceedingly cautious this year by keeping students at home if they show any sign of illness and quarantining students who may have had a COVID exposure through sports, family members, etc. I know it does not come without sacrifice to be vigilant.
For those families with in-person learners (and remote learners as well), please continue to be extra cautious when it comes to your family’s well-being. Not only do we want to keep all of our classes in the building throughout the remainder of the school year, but we want everyone in our extended school family to stay healthy and safe.
Thank you again for your support as we work through the challenges (and triumphs!) of this school year. As always, please do not hesitate to reach out to myself or Mrs. Vignati with any questions or concerns.
