NED Show Yo Yos

Yesterday our students in grades K-6 were treated to a fun assembly called “The NED Show.”

NED is an acronym for Never give up, Encourage others, Do your best.  This show was provided to our school at no charge because it works on a pay-it-forward basis.

You can help support the show’s mission to spread kindness and encouragement by purchasing a NED-themed Yo Yo for your child.  Yo Yos will be available for purchase tomorrow and the first two days after break.

Prices and information are in the flyer Here:  NED show Info.

All proceeds from the sale of Yo Yos go towards making the show available for another school

Thank you for helping us spread kindness!

SJS HSA Gives: St. Baldrick’s Update

The St. Baldrick’s event is this Sunday (April 8th) at the Hilton Mystic. It is NOT TOO LATE to donate or participate! Remember, you do NOT have to shave or buzz to participate or fundraise. Our goal is to raise money to support effective, kid-specific treatments so that kids who get cancer have a better chance for a brighter, healthier future. We’d love to see you in Mystic!  https://www.stbaldricks.org/teams/SJSsabers/

SJS Soccer games for the middle school teams are currently scheduled to start on April 7th with the 3rd, 4th and 5th grade teams expected to start the following week.

We just received notification (3/29), however, that all fields are “until further notice” and will be evaluated next week. That means no soccer practice Wednesday April 4 and we will need to wait to see if games for the 6th, 7th and 8th grades can be played on April 7.

Attached HERE is a coupon sent to us from Dick’s Sporting Goods for 20% off your purchase of select items today through April 3rd.
