Please remember to send Box Tops to school tomorrow with your child for the next Dress Down Contest. Box Tops should be in a baggie labeled with the Teacher’s name. We will be counting at 2:00pm tomorrow to determine the winner.
Due to the ugly forecast for Saturday, Trunk or Treat has been cancelled.
Box tops for the second dress down contest of the school year will be counted after school on October 30th. Please be sure to send in any box tops you have accumulated by 2:00pm on October 30th to help your child’s grade win! (please label name and grade on the container or baggie you send them to school in).
The last XC meet of the regular season will be held today (Thursday) at Illing Middle School in Manchester. Please note, this is a change from the originally published venue (originally scheduled to be held at Elizabeth Park in Hartford). The Cross Country Calendar on our school website has been updated to reflect the change. Students should arrive at Illing for 3:15pm to stretch and walk the course with Coach O’Neill. The meet will begin at 4:00pm.
Students advancing to run in the Middle School State Competition (approximately 7 of our runners) will be notified by Coach O’Neill. All 5th grade runners and those not advancing to states are asked to hand wash (and line dry) their uniform and return it to Mrs. O’Neill in a baggie (labeled with the child’s name) sometime next week. Please remember there is a charge if the uniform is not returned to the school.
