Another fun Book & Art Club yesterday after school for our 1st & 2nd grade students. Mrs. Carpenter read the story, “Bear Says Thanks” and then the group made cute bears using pine cones and model magic. Special thanks to Mrs. Carpenter & Mrs. Sabatella for the cute pictures:
Cross Country students received a notice to take home yesterday regarding a banquet celebrating the end of another great season. The banquet will be held on Thursday, November 15th at the school; Forms and payment are due back by this coming Monday, November 12th.
Szopka Club will meet each day this week. Students may attend as many sessions as possible. Wednesday and Thursday students will need to bring a LUNCH FROM HOME and the club will end at 2:45pm and pick up must be prompt. All Szopka entries will be due on November 21.

The Middle School Cross Country Championships, originally postponed to Saturday afternoon, has now been moved to SUNDAY due to the high winds and rain forecasted for Saturday morning. Please meet Mrs. O’Neill at Wickham Park between 10:30am-10:45am. Best of luck SABERS!
The deadline for ordering pictures has been extended until Monday, November 5th.
As a reminder, the SJS Winter Uniform begins TOMORROW Thursday, November 1st. This means K-8 students may no longer wear shorts to school, girls must wear tights or knee-high socks with their skorts, and Middle School boys must wear their SJS Uniform button-down shirt and a tie on non-gym days.
All 1st – 8th grade students should wear their regular (non-gym) uniform tomorrow as they will be attending Mass at 9:15am.
