STEM Club – Grades 1 & 2
An afternoon STEM Club has been scheduled for Monday, April 29 for students in 1st and 2nd grade. During this session, students will be coding with the Dash and Dot robots. Please see the attached form for details and sign-up information.
Father/Daughter Dance
The annual Father/Daughter Dance is scheduled for Saturday, April 27 from 6:00 – 9:00 pm in the school gym. There will be dancing, raffles, photo fun, karaoke, and live DJ “shout-outs!” Refreshments will consist of a hot food buffet and a dessert table! Responses can be sent in tomorrow if you forgot before break.

If you are able volunteer at the dance please contact Tammi DeLaire at tdelaire1@cox.net. Help will be needed to set up the dance the evening before and to help oversee refreshments and activities during the dance. Your help is greatly appreciated!
Spring Recess & Spring Uniforms
As a reminder, Saint James School will be closed for Spring Recess from April 15th through Monday, April 22nd. We will return to school on Tuesday, April 23rd. The main office will be open from 9:00am – 1:00pm on Monday, April 15th – Thursday, April 18th of break.
Also, please note: Students may begin wearing their SPRING uniform when we return from break (April 23rd)

St. Bridget vs. St James JV – 11:00am (Charter Oak Park Field 1)
St. Bridget vs. St. James JV – 11:45am (Charter Oak Park Field 4)
For this weekend’s games only, all the 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade players will play as one team since so many players are unavailable due to vacation. This is NO practice on Wednesday, April 17th and there are NO games on Saturday, April 20th. Practice will resume on April 24th for 4th – 8th grade players not involved in band or choir (as we have our spring concert that evening).
New Virtue of the Month: Compassion
As you may recall, each month Saint James K – 8 students are studying a different virtue as part of their religion classes. Today during the Rosary, Mrs. Zorger recognized our students who best exemplified the virtue of Forgiveness during the month of March (picture below) and introduced the next virtue our students will study: Compassion.
