2nd Grade STREAM
For their first STREAM class of the year, our 2nd graders worked on programming the coding robots to sort matter into solids, “liquids,” and gases (tying in with what they are studying in science).
Fall Mums Fundraiser (Botticello Farms)
Support our school, and begin your fall home decorating by purchasing locally grown, beautiful mums from Botticello Farms!
As we welcome the autumn air this season, the HSA will once again be having our Fall Mum Sale through October 4th. Choose your favorite color mums from an abundant selection of 9 inch pots.
To order, please print the following form and send in to school with your payment. Upon receipt of your payment, we will send home vouchers with your child. Children’s Mass Yesterday
Thank you to everyone who came out for Saint James School’s Children’s Mass this past Sunday! An extra special thank you to our awesome reader, Carson, as well as our greeters, gift bearers, altar servers, and other special helpers.
Saint James School Children’s Mass This Sunday
This Sunday, September 8th at 9:00am, Saint James School will host a special Mass with students serving as readers, ushers, and gift bearers. All Saint James School students and their parents are invited to attend in a show of support for our school!
Saint James School students are encouraged to wear their school uniforms (all students serving in any capacity must wear their SJS winter uniform). This is a great way for the Saint James Church parishioners (many of whom very generously support our school) to see the exceptional students they are investing in.
The choir will begin performing at next month’s children’s Mass (October 13th) and Coffee & Donuts after Mass will resume on October 13th as well.
All Saint James School families are welcome regardless of faith or home church.
Cherrydale Fundraiser
All students (PreK-Grade 8) should have received a Fall Fundraiser packet from Cherrydale Fundraising. This catalog-based fundraiser offers a wide-range of items including wrapping paper, kitchen gadgets, home decor, candles, cookies, cakes and candy — there is something for everyone!
Sales can be made in person using the order form from the packet or online at shopfund.com. At the end of the fundraiser, students will earn prizes based on the total number of items sold. In addition, throughout the sale, there are 3 chances to earn extra incentives. Turn-in dates for the STAMPEDE Collectibles are:

Please return all order forms (top two copies) and payment no later than Friday, September 20th. Checks should be payable to “St. James School” and we ask that you write your child’s name on the memo line of the check.
