Our Kindergarten through 8th graders attended Mass at Saint James Church today in preparation for the Thanksgiving Holiday. Thank you to our 7th graders for hosting and to all our older students who served as “buddies” to the younger grades.
Today our 5th graders handed in the final copy of their research report on a famous person along with conducting an oral presentation (in character) to their classmates. Public speaking is among the many important skills…
Today in Art our 1st and 4th grade students talked about the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade and drew their own parade of balloons.

THE ST JAMES VARSITY GIRLS basketball team defeated St Gabriel last night 26-24 in a very close fought game. Alyssa led the team in scoring with 13 to go with her game high 15 rebounds. Sarah added 7 while Shreya, Angie, and Sammy each added a basket. Sarah also had 12 boards while Angie added 5. Sammy led the team in steals with 5.
Next up the team faces St John Paul from Middletown on Tuesday in the Saint James School gym. The game will start at 6:15 followed by the boys.
Girls Varsity will practice Monday 5 to 7 (no practice on Wednesday).
