Thank you to everyone who dined out at DQ in support of Saint James School last month. Together we raised over $150.00 for Mrs. Kanute to use for items on the teachers’ wish lists and for classroom supplies!
The Saint James School HSA has arranged another Dine Out fundraiser with Olive Garden in Manchester for Tuesday, February 18th. Visit Olive Garden (1550 Pleasant Valley Rd, Manchester) any time of day on February 18th and 10% of your bill will be donated back to Saint James School. Simply print out the Olive Garden Dine Out Flyer and give it to your server.

The Saint James School Drama club will be performing Magic Golden Apples in the spring. All students in grades 5 – 7 are invited to audition. Auditions for our play will be held on Sunday, February 23rd from 3:00-5:00pm.
Below are some important drama club details:
Date: Most Sundays-beginning February 23, 2014 (Students wishing to be on stage crew will begin in March)
Time: 3:00-5:00pm
Place: Saint James Gym/Stage
Fee: $35.00
Production date: May 31, 2014
Parents of students interested in being on stage or part of the stage crew should complete the attached form and send it back to the school office in an envelope marked “Drama.” Also, attached are the Saint James Drama Club audition lines for interested students.
Mr. Reilly will be kicking off the 2014 Robotics Club starting this Friday, February 14th. All Saint James School 6th – 8th grade students are welcome to participate. The club will meet every other Friday from 2:30pm to 4:00pm now through the end of school. Any students who wish to be part of this fun group are asked to return the SJS Robotics Club Permission Slip to the school along with the $35.00 activity fee as soon as possible.

Saint James School students attending the school dance on Friday (February 7th) are asked to bring the following items:
6th graders: individually wrapped snacks (no peanut products please)
7th and 8th graders: 1 gallon jugs of water
Please bring items to the cafeteria anytime on Friday or to the gym the night of the school dance.
The dance will run from 7:00 pm to 10:00 pm. Attending students should bring their signed Middle School Dance permission slip and $5.00 entrance fee.
