Scholastic Book Fair Begins Monday!

October 4th – 7th Saint James School will host our annual Scholastic Book fair in our gymnasium.  The book fair is a great way to encourage reading and build home libraries.  It is also a great way to support our school as up to 50% of all purchases go directly to the school.

All students will be visiting the Book Fair during the school day with their teachers.  Students in PreK-Grade 5 will visit on Monday or Tuesday to make a “wish list” of books.  Parents will be able to look over the list and send in payment the following day for their child to purchase books.  Grade 6-8 students will visit the fair on Wednesday and should come with money to make purchases.  Students can pay with cash, check payable to St. James HSA or eWallet.  Please follow this link to learn more about the eWallet option which is a convenient, cash-free way to send money to school with your child.

**Please remember to send along a shopping bag for your child’s purchases.

Parent Shopping Hours
We will have special Parent Shopping hours on Tuesday, 10/5 and Wednesday 10/6.  During these times parents, grandparents, etc. are welcome to visit the school gym to shop the fair.  Parent Shopping hours are on Tuesday from 1:15pm-2:45pm and on Wednesday from 7:15am-7:45am and 1:15pm-2:45pm.  All parents that visit the fair can enter to win one of the raffle baskets of books!

Pre-Order the Newest Diary of a Wimpy Kid Book
“Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Big Shot” is coming out on October 26!  You can pre-order an exclusive paperback copy at the Book Fair for $9.99.  To place an order, visit the Fair during Parent Shopping Hours or add the book to your child’s wish list.  The books will arrive at school in early November and will be delivered to your student.
