Halloween Party Volunteers Needed

Please consider volunteering at the upcoming annual Halloween Party.  We need help in the following areas:

**SET UP –  This takes place on 10/24 starting at approximately 4:00 pm. This involves moving all decorations from the Pre K building to the gym, setting up the decorations, games, etc. Children are more than welcome to be there when we set up. They play while we work and often help, too.

**THE PARTY –  For the event itself, we need parents in the Cafeteria to serve snacks and drinks, in the breezeway to help oversee the craft area, and in the gym to help with greeting everyone, collecting tickets, etc.

**CLEAN UP – This involves taking down all decorations and returning them to the Pre K building, wiping down tables, sweeping the gym/cafateria, etc. Just like with set up – the more people we have, the faster it goes.

If you able to help for one or more of the above, please contact Darcy Donnelly at ddonnell@travelers.com.  And…. THANK YOU! The more people we have, the more successful our event will be.

New School Lunch Payment Program

Saint James is in the process of introducing a new family-friendly management system in the cafeteria for the purchase of hot lunch and/or milk.  Beginning in November 2014 the school will begin to use Ezschoolpay.com as a new means for families to fund and track each student’s lunch account.
Students in Grades 1-8 will pay or use a swipe card to purchase lunch/milk.  Students are expected to have money in their account at the time of service.  We encourage students to use their accounts, as it allows for less chance of lost lunch money, quicker service at lunch time, and more parental control.
To activate the account for each student, parents will deposit into the account securely online using a credit/debit card. To help avoid negative balances, parents should have “Low Balance Email Reminders” sent.
The school will send more information soon, including detailed information of how to register online.
