Box Tops Due Thursday
Box Tops must be submitted by the end of day Thursday to count towards the October Dress Down Day contest. Mrs. Meyer will be counting to determine this month’s winner after school on Thursday.

Reminder: Tonight – Dine Out in Support of SJS
Bertucci’s in Manchester will hold a dine out night TONIGHT, October 27th in support of SJS. Dine in or carry out between 4:00pm and 9:00pm and 15% of your order will be donated back to SJS. A flyer was sent home or can be downloaded here. Please present the flyer to your server.
Reminder: Girls Basketball Tryouts
Tryouts for Basketball for girls in grades 4th – 6th will take place after school today in the gym from 2:00pm – 4:00pm. Varsity Girls Basketball tryouts will take place this evening from 5:00pm – 7:00pm. Tryouts will also take place on Wednesday at the same times. The Girls Basketball parents meeting is tomorrow evening (Tuesday) at 6:00pm in the Cafeteria. A calendar all basketball dates can be found on the Basketball page of the school website (Extra Curricular –> Basketball).
Tuesday’s Cross Country Meet – Venue Change
The venue for Tuesday’s Cross Country meet has been changed. The new location is 23 Iron Horse Blvd. in Simsbury. Please meet at 3:00pm to walk the course. The schedule on the SJS website homepage and Cross Country page have been updated.

Conference Sign-ups Begin Next Monday
Sign-ups for Fall parent-teacher conferences (11/12 & 11/13) will begin next Monday, November 3rd, in the hallway outside the Main Office. Sign-up sheets will be available through Thursday, November 6th. Please stop in at your convenience to sign up for a time.

Results from Thursday’s Cross Country Meet
Congratulations to the SJS Cross Country team on their stellar performance at yesterday’s meet vs. Sedgwick Middle School and St. Timothy. The girls won the meet with Isabelle B. taking 1st place followed by Elizabeth M. (4th), Ally A. (5th), and Lindsay O (6th). The boys were led by 8th grader Ryan L. who finished in 5th place overall followed by Dominic C. and Nathan K.
